Trails of Freedom begins our "Quick Facts" video series!

As we kick off our "Quick Facts" series, Trails of Freedom visits Lamentation Mountain State Park in Meriden, Connecticut where Vice-President Jordan Coleman briefly explains some quick facts about basalt. Trails of Freedom returns from the Nā Pali Coast!

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Trails of Freedom, members Leigh Anne Crocco and John Swartz, along with Daniel Pope, spent four days hiking the Kalalau Trail along the Nā Pali Coast on Kaua'i. Highlights include the world famous Kalalau Trail, Hanakapi'ai Falls, Hanakoa Falls, and Kalalau Beach.

The Everglades: Whitewater Bay tells the story of the five-day, four-night canoeing adventure through Everglades National Park in south Florida.  Brothers Jordan and Justin Coleman navigate their way through endless channels of mangroves as they explore the areas surrounding Whitewater Bay. Look for this documentary expected to be released this July!



Koko Head July 20, 2010 Trails of Freedom tackles the hike up Koko Head, a short but strenuous trail along the east coast of O'ahu. The summit of the crater rests at 1207 feet and overlooks Hanauma Bay. Inside the crater is the Koko Crater Botanical Garden where visitors can see Hawai'i's native flora and fauna
     
Kuli'ou'ou Ridge July 25, 2010 This is a five-mile round trip hike which peaks along a ridge of the Ko‘olau mountain range.  The summit offers stunning views of Oahu’s windward coast.  As hiker’s make the climb to the top, visitors can indulge in some guava found along the trail.
